Friday 26 September 2008 Rhinos Capture Commanding Lead in Leg 1 Battery concede 2 late goals as we return to BlackBaud for Leg 2 Sunday
Matthew Delicate and Steve Guppy netted 2 late goals on Friday night at PAETEC Park as Rochester earned a commanding lead in the 2 game aggregate goal series. The Rhinos will host a viewing party Sunday night at The Distillery on Mt. Hope Ave. with pre/post game radio shows being held there. The fun begins at 6:30 PM. The match will be televised on Fox Soccer Channel beginning at 7 PM.
Friday 19 September 2008 Sitting and Waiting Rhinos await playoff foe
Rochester will wait patiently as the final slate of matches conclude this weekend as they look ahead to their first round opponent in the 2008 USL1 playoffs. Check back for updates as we will post playoff pairings as soon as we get official word from USL Soccer.
Thursday 11 September 2008 Rhinos Take Aim at Puerto Rico Rochester gears up for final stretch in USL1 regular season
The Rhinos will conclude their regular season USL1 schedule as they face Puerto Rico at home tomorrow and travel to Carolina on Sunday and conclude their 2008 campaign in Miami on Wednesday. KO Friday is slated for 8PM with national TV coverage on FSC. Read what Devo's Blog has to say.
Monday 01 September 2008 Preparing for Portland Every game a must-win as club enters final stretch
The Rhinos have turned their focus on the Portland Timbers who will visit PAETEC Park Saturday evening. Rhinos midfielder Andrew Gregor will face his former team since being traded to Rochester mid-season. Kick-off is set for 7:35 PM.
Saturday 30 August 2008 Rochester 1 Atlanta 0 FINAL Mission Accomplished!
The Rhinos have defeated the Silverbacks tonite and have taken a huge step towards quaifying for the playoffs. Rochester will return home next Saturday evening to do battle with the Portland Timbers.
