The league is currently searching for a commisioner and will launch a marketing campaign in the coming months as the league develops. Head Coach Bob Lilley had this to say regarding his release:“John has been a very good player in this league and for the Rhinos. It was a very difficult decision. I certainly have a lot of respect for what John has brought to the game for many years. His ability to play with his heart is a great achievement,” said Lilley, who informed Ball of the team’s plan. ”Obviously, when you’re changing the dynamic of the team there will be many difficult decisions. This will be only the 4th head coach in franchise history. The combination of former Rhinos head coach Pat Ercoli serving as GM along with Lilley should provide for some veteran stability and leadership in those key positions.
